As of Monday, October 1, 2012, the following regulations will be in effect:
• The lower Aberjona Parking Lot (area beyond the parking ticket machine) will require a permit. Daily parking with ticket will no longer be allowed.
• Permits are available to Town Center Employees free-of-charge. Town Center Employees must apply for a permit at the Winchester Engineering Department in Town Hall, 71 Mount Vernon Street. Office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday. Proof of employment in the Town Center is required. Permits will be valid through December 31, 2012.
• Permits are available to Town of Winchester residents at a cost of $125 per quarter. Residents must apply for a permit at the Winchester Engineering Department in Town Hall, 71 Mount Vernon Street. Office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday. Proof of residency is required. Permits will be valid through December 31, 2012.
• Any user of the lot who does not have a parking permit will be subject to ticketing by the Winchester Police Department.
• Permits will be honored in the Aberjona, Waterfield, and Jenks Lots, in accordance with posted regulations in each lot. Issuance of a parking permit does not guarantee a space; spaces are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
• Two hour parking spaces in the upper portion of the Aberjona Lot will remain in effect.
