BUILDING & DEMOLITION DEBRIS: $200/TON (Defined as materials from construction, renovation, demolition or wood of any kind. Demolition debris may not exceed 42" in length. All wood and plastic fencing and landscape materials. Large quantities of Clean Gypsum Wallboard are banned per the State of Massachusetts, and must be recycled at a C&D facility.)
FREON UNITS: $15.00 (air conditioner, dehumidifier, freezer, refrigerator, water or wine cooler)
APPLIANCES: $10.00 (clothes dryer, clothes washer, dishwasher, heating uniot oil or gas, hot water heater, stove, oven, range, trash compactor)
TIRES: $5.00 (18 inches or less)
PROPANE TANKS: $5.00 (20 LBS ONLY)
TELEVISION: $5.00 (laptops, TVs, monitors 5"-16")

Winchester Recycling and Transfer Station
FLUORESCENT LIGHTING TUBES AND RECHARGABLE BATTERIES ARE COLLECTED IN A CONTANER NEAR THE SCALE HOUSE
LEAD ACID CAR BATTERIES: Car batteries may be left on a pallet in the garage door entrance to the tipping building.
PAPER CONTAINERS-ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS:
Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, paper bags, office paper, computer paper, corrugated cardboard, phone books, junk mail, cereal, cracker and shoe boxes, and similar items.
PLASTIC BOTTLE/METAL CAN CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Plastic bottles labeled #1 THRU #7. Milk/water jugs, detergent bottles, etc. Deposit and non-deposit beverage cans, metal food cans, aluminum trays and foil.
GLASS CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Glass bottles and jars.
CRT CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Television sets, computer monitors, osciloscopes, etc.
Plastic bags, boxes containing solid Styrofoam or Styrofoam packing materials, waxed paper or waxed cardboard, waxed juice, milk, or ice cream containers. No soiled papers, food-coated boxes, or trash in the paper containers.
Plastic bags, motor oil jugs, containers over 2 gallons, chemical, hazardous waste, or other large metal/plastic objects.
Window or auto glass, light bulbs, dishes, glasses, Pyrex, ceramics, or broken glass.
Leaves Area - Dispose only these items: leaves, grass, pine needles, weeds, annuals, sod, hay, mulch, pumpkins, house plants, flowering plants
Branch Area - Disponse only these items: brush, branches, limbs, logs (5" diameter maximum), shrubs, fire wood, Christmas trees
DO NOT LEAVE THESE ITEMS - plastic bags, pots, containers, household waste, rocks, concrete, bricks, lumber, fence posts, tembers, tree stumps, Christmas wreaths, garland. Violation of these rules may result in loss of the privilege to use the transfer station.
