*Permits for new residents only will be prorated to $87.50 after July 1st and $43.75 after October 1st. New Residents can not be listed on Town Census prior to July 1st to qualify for prorated rate.

***Remember! Some "unacceptable" items can be disposed of on certain specified Hazardous Waste Days. Contact the Board of Health at 781-721-7121 for more information.


ITEMS TO RECYCLE

FLUORESCENT LIGHTING TUBES AND LEAD ACID CAR BATTERIES: These are being recycled in the compactor building next to the conveyor belt.  Give the fluorescent tubes to the attendant in the building. Car batteries may be left on a pallet in the garage door entrance to the building.

PAPER CONTAINERS-ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS:
Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, paper bags, office paper, computer paper, corrugated cardboard, phone books, junk mail, cereal, cracker and shoe boxes, and similar items.

PLASTIC BOTTLE/METAL CAN CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Plastic bottles labeled #1 THRU #7. Milk/water jugs, detergent bottles, etc. Deposit and non-deposit beverage cans, metal food cans, aluminum trays and foil.


GLASS CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Glass bottles and jars.


CRT CONTAINER-ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
Television sets, computer monitors, osciloscopes, etc.


ITEMS NOT TO RECYCLE

Plastic bags, boxes containing solid Styrofoam or Styrofoam packing materials, waxed paper or waxed cardboard, waxed juice, milk, or ice cream containers.  No soiled papers, food-coated boxes, or trash in the paper containers.

Plastic bags, motor oil jugs, containers over 2 gallons, chemical, hazardous waste, or other large metal/plastic objects.

Window or auto glass, light bulbs, dishes, glasses, Pyrex, ceramics, or broken glass.
