The Archival Center's collections include original documents such as:

Collections also include published materials about Winchester’s history.

Official Town Records

Official records of the Town of Winchester are under the care of the Town Clerk. Individual Town departments maintain their own records.

Artifacts & Objects

Artifacts and objects related to Winchester’s history are under the care of the Winchester Historical Society and stored in the Sanborn House.

Donating Materials to the Collections

The majority of the holdings of the Archival Center were donated by individuals, organizations, and businesses. Gifts relating to local history are gladly received, as are scanned photos or documents. To arrange donations, see the Archival Donation Form (PDF).
