The Engineering Department maintains custody of all plans and engineering records for the town, including roadway layouts, assessor’s maps, public building plans, and public utility plans (water, sewer, and drainage only). We do not have residential plot plans.
Persons requesting street layouts; water, sewer, or drainage plans; and/or assessor’s information requiring extensive research are required to complete an Engineering Service Request Form (PDF), which may be accessed online and printed, or picked up at the Engineering Department. The form must be submitted in person to the Engineering Department; faxed or mailed copies will not be accepted.
The Engineering Department fulfills most requests for information on a first-come, first-served basis. The typical response time is 1 to 2 weeks. The fee associated with research requests varies depending on the level of effort and number of plans. Payment is typically due upon receipt of the documents; however, for large requests, a deposit may be required upfront.
