The Town of Winchester issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify developers and developer teams to create of pool of applicants from which it will choose to request formal proposals for the redevelopment of the town-owned Waterfield parking lot in Winchester Town Center. There will be a public meeting in January to gain feedback from the Town regarding a preferred direction of the Use of the property (housing, mixed-use, office, parking, affordable housing, etc.) In February, the responsive developers will be evaluated and a handful of developers will be asked to apply for the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP will be released in March and will be open until May. Further public meetings will take place to evaluate the short-list of developers as we lead up to a possible land disposition at Fall Town Meeting in November. Check back for updates soon!
