Masks DO NOT need be medical grade (i.e. surgical mask or N95 mask, sometimes called N95 respirators)
Make sure you can breathe through it
Wash routinely depending on the frequency of use
Where: Inside public places (i.e. grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants when picking up take-out, common areas of residential or commercial complexes with multiple units). Face coverings are also required at the Transfer Station. Massachusetts also requires face coverings be worn outdoors when 6 feet cannot be maintained between people and when riding public transportation, including ride sharing.
Why: The CDC says wearing cloth face coverings is an additional public health measure people should take to reduce the spread of COVID-19. You should still stay at least 6 feet away from other people (social distancing) and practice good personal hygiene.
