Join Jeff Klapes, the Traveling Librarian, for his popular armchair traveler’s journey to Oman. Oman is an off the beaten path destination, that is often ignored by travelers. Full of stark desert scenery, historic fortresses, and picturesque villages, Oman offers an experience of a more traditional Arabia, far from the glitz and glamor of Dubai. Klapes is the retired Head of Reference Services at Wakefield's Beebe Library and an avid traveler and photographer. Sponsored by a generous grant from The Cummings Foundation.
