A Son's Battle for Recovery, a Mother's Battle for Her Son (Madeleine Dean and Harry Cunnane)

Is teen partying a “rite of passage”?  Do “gateway drugs” exist?  

Why do some people develop substance use disorders while others can drink socially without any issues?  Is there any way to know who is at risk and how to prevent problems?

Join us as we listen to Harry’s journey through a 10-year struggle with opiate addiction to recovery.  Harry will talk about why he started drinking in high school and how his substance use disorder progressed to opiates.

Harry’s message is one of hope and resilience.
