Tuesday Night @ The Jenks: An Evening with Henry David Thoreau

Step back in time to 1858 and spend an evening with the famed 19th century writer and naturalist Henry David Thoreau! Mr. Thoreau (portrayed by historian Richard Smith) will share selections from his essay "Walking". Afterward he will take questions (in character) for an entertaining and educational look into Thoreau's life in 19th century Concord, MA. The Jenks Center welcomes Richard Smith, a Public Historian and has been portraying Henry Thoreau for 20 years. Richard is the author of six books.

Proof of Vaccination or a PCR test within 72 hours, is required to enter the Jenks Center. Masks are required inside the building.
