MWRA work rescheduled to February 17 - Forest Street

In order to install a large concrete valve structure on Forest Street on the above date, the MWRA‘s contractor, P. Gioioso & Sons, has hired a 350-ton crane to unload and lift the sections into place. The crane and delivery trucks will temporarily occupy one lane on Forest Street.

As a result, Forest Street will be restricted to a single lane of traffic from 9AM. After the work is completed during a 12-hour period, the traffic restriction will be removed. Police details will be provided along Forest Street for traffic and pedestrian safety.
