Spring Town Meeting

Town Meeting continues on Thursday, April 27th and Monday, May 1st at 6:30pm at the Winchester High School Auditorium.  You can find all the meeting materials on the Town's website by clicking here.

If you need a hard copy of any of these materials, please contact the Town Manager's Office and we will have it ready for you to pick up. 

Jenks Center Survey

The survey is designed to help the Jenks Center create the best experience for all residents aged 55 and older. We anticipate this survey will require approximately five minutes to complete. You will be asked questions about your awareness of the Jenks Center and its activities, your interest in joining us, your thoughts on building alterations we might consider, and your preferences for learning about activities at the Jenks Center. Your responses are anonymous and will be pooled with others to help us address the needs of our community.

Job Fair

The Chamber and Jenks will host its first “EMPLOYMENT FAIR” on Thursday, May 4 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Jenks to provide opportunities for prospective employers to meet with seniors to discuss potential job openings. A continental breakfast will be provided along with breakout rooms for interviewing candidates.

Learn about new Winchester housing options providing seniors, younger adults, and households with children with: a range of bedroom configurations, affordable units for moderate and middle income households, availability starting August. Save the date! Water Flushing

The Water Department will begin water main flushing of the Town’s middle low water system. Weather permitting, flushing will take place over the next three to four weeks during the day from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  

Downtown areas may be done overnight between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.  

Water main flushing signs will be posted in the areas to be flushed each day.  

The middle low water system consists of streets west of Washington Street, Main Street and Grove Street, and streets east of Cambridge Street.
