The Massachusetts Orchid Society (MOS) is pleased to announce the “World of Orchids: The Amazon” show & sale, Friday, Oct. 21, to Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Sons of Italy Hall at 117 Swanton St. in Winchester.
Trek to the Amazon, the most biodiverse place on earth and native habitat of thousands of unique and captivating orchid species. Hosted by the MOS, the annual show and sale will feature over 20 displays of orchids from national vendors, New England orchid societies and private collectors. Come enjoy the sights and scents of these exotic flowers.
The show will feature something for every level of enthusiast, from beginner to advanced, including tours of the displays, plant raffles, vendors of specialty orchids and growing supplies, and orchid art. The show is $10 per person, with MOS members and children under eight, free. (Ask about membership at the show!) All proceeds help fund MOS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
