    Please welcome our McCall 6th Grade Science students from the Gemini Team here to the Jenks for a Health Fair. These students have been working hard on researching and developing visual aids to share their knowledge of how various body systems work together to keep us healthy and slow the impacts of aging. Visit their tables, and learn new facts about cells, organs, tissues and more from these budding scientists.

  4. Garden Club - Planning Meeting

    Erika Gorgenyi, Education Director at Wright-Locke Farm, joins us as we plan our gardening season here at The Jenks. Everyone is welcome, no experience needed to participate in our Garden Club that will meet weekly on Tuesday mornings. Join us for this initial planning session and then have fun planting, learning, harvesting, and socializing with our team of gardeners.

  5. New Art Class and Studio

    May 30, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

    Art offers another wonderful opportunity for creative and social connections. We welcome Hilary Celentano as she shares her artistic talents and teaches a new art class and studio. The first hour will focus on a specific topic, starting with pencil sketching. The next two hours will be studio time where students can stay and work on their own projects or participate in a community piece. The first hour costs $3.00 and students provide their own materials. The studio time costs $2.00 and if working on the group project, materials will be provided. Hilary will remain available throughout the studio time for assistance.
