  2. The Griffin Museum at the Jenks Friday Opening Night Reception

    October 13, 2017, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Jenks Center

The Jenks Center is thrilled to have forged an additional partnership with our neighbor The Griffin Museum. The Griffin has graciously agreed to curate and hang an exhibit at the Jenks Center entitled “Repose.” All of the photographs were taken by renowned photographer Arthur Griffin at the Boston Common on a warm day in late May, 1942. The collection depicts images that are warm, humorous and touching, revealing everyday customs of the times. This work will appear at the Jenks for an indefinite period of time. We are pleased to host an opening reception to acknowledge the gracious generosity of Paula Tognarelli and the Board of the Griffin Museum. Please RSVP by calling the Jenks Center (781)721-7136.
