  3. Winchester Historical Society: Amazing Varieties: Arlington’s Agricultural Innovations with Richard Duffy

    April 27, 2017, 7:00 PM @ Sanborn House

The Winchester Historical Society is pleased to present Amazing Varieties: Arlington’s Agricultural Innovations with Richard Duffy. Arlington names were borne by produce grown throughout the region, and eventually nationwide, as it achieved renown for the seeds of new produce varieties developed by horticultural leaders there. This deliciously illustrated lecture is a treat for connoisseurs of heirloom veggies! Richard Duffy is a historian and the author of 'Arlington Then and Now' and 'Arlington Twentieth Century Reflections'.
