June 22, 2017, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Winchester Public Library, Large Meeting Room
“Exploring Gender Identity Through Transgender Experience” is the title of the program hosted by the Winchester Multicultural Network on Thursday evening, June 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the large meeting room at the Winchester Public Library.
Do you have questions about what it means to be transgender? Are you confused by the controversy over the use of gender- specific bathrooms? If so, this program is for you.
A diverse panel of three speakers from the organization SpeakOUT will talk about their own lives and answer questions from the audience. Their goal is to work towards a world free of prejudice around gender identity issues by sharing their experiences and helping audiences feel at ease raising difficult questions.
The program is free and open to anyone.
