  1. Art Exhibit at the Jenks

    Calling All Artists. Do you have paintings, photos, quilts, or other art projects you would like to display and share with our community? Please sign-up by Monday, April 15th (so we can plan the space). Bring in your work between Wednesday, April 17th and Monday, April 22nd. Your art will be on display from Thursday, April 25th through Thursday, May 9th. Plan to pick-up your piece(s) on Friday, May 10th. Space limited. Maximum of 2 pieces per artist. May have size restriction. Reception on Friday, April 26th. Forward questions to npolcari@jenkscenter.org.

  2. Climate Change and Regional Resilience

    May 7, 2019, 7:00 PM

    Come and learn from our local leaders about collaborative efforts at the state, regional and local levels to improve climate preparedness. Kathleen Theoharides, Undersecretary, MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, will speak on initiatives to guide our communities towards higher levels of climate adaption and resiliency. Senator Jason Lewis will discuss climate change legislation at the state level. Representative Michael Day will identify climate change initiatives at the municipal level. This event is co-hosted by Winchester’s Climate Action Advisory Committee, League of Women Voters of MA, League of Women Voters of Winchester, Sustainable Middlesex, Sustainable Melrose, Sustainable Winchester, Winchester Farmers Market, and Wright-Locke Farm. Sponsored by a generous grant from The Cummings Foundation.
