  1. Art Can Make a Difference - with Sahar Ahmed, Brio Integrated Theatre

    June 6, 2019, 6:30 PM

Art has an ability to let the mind run free, interpreting difficult situations and creating solutions for things we don’t understand. Often people are untouched by the problems of others, especially global issues; they don’t feel that they are part of this larger picture. Art can make a difference. Art engages people, helping them to connect and feel, which spurs thinking, engagement, and action. Join Sahar Ahmed, Brio Integrated Theatre, as she discusses ways to foster artistic expression in people, to stimulate their minds and connect with their emotions. This educator and artist will explore how we all can create and use art to make a social impact in our local communities. Sponsored by a generous grant from the Cummings Foundation.
