Simply Sitting in Silence

"What keeps my heart awake is colorful silence." - Claude Monet 9:30am Wednesday mornings in Ripley Chapel of First Congregational Church,(in the back of the white church at the Town Common). Non-sectarian, non-political, non-verbal, just plain being in silence together for 20 minutes. Call it meditation, centering prayer, mindfulness, relaxation. Keep your heart awake. All are welcome.

Family Fun Night Fundraiser

What better way to celebrate the penultimate day of school than our first ever Family Fun Night Fundraiser at Wright Locke Farm! With a drumming performance by Odaiko New England, kids' painting activity from Studio on the Common, yard games, crafts, pizza, popsicles, refreshments, the chance to win a weeklong camp experience for your child at Kidstock! and more, there's sure to be something for everyone. TRANSPORTATION PLAN

The Town of Winchester has identified and prioritized a draft list of transportation projects as part of our Transportation Plan. Influenced by input shared last summer through a public meeting and an online mapping tool, the Plan is focused on projects that advance safety and accessibility for people using all modes of transportation. The Transportation Plan will guide the Town in implementing projects that add or enhance crosswalks, slow car traffic, redesign intersections, fill sidewalk gaps, and more.
